Truth is it depends, and I hate seeing folks get sticker shock from some national chain quote that ignores how our humidity and salt air chew up cheap stuff.

Basic wire or kit shelves in a standard reach-in closet around Old Northeast, Gulfport, or Largo often land in a few hundred to around a thousand once labor and hardware are in. Mid-range wood or melamine systems with hanging rails and a couple extra shelves usually run higher. Full custom built-ins for a walk-in in Clearwater, Seminole, or Dunedin can climb from a couple thousand into the mid thousands depending on drawers, lighting, and how much we have to work around existing trim.
